I am sorry it's been so long since my last post!  We've been very busy in second grade!  Ask your child...

• What different features can be found poetry?  Have your child teach you about alliteration, personification, repetition, rhyme, rhythm and other poetry "tricks" writers use to craft poems.
• What continent he/she is  researching?  What has your child learned about this continent so far?
• When do you need to regroup when adding and subtracting three digit numbers?
• What a possessive noun is?  Challenge: Can he/she share what a plural possessive noun is?
