The Big Bad Blow Dryer Challenge

We've been working on properties of matter in science.  The kids were challenged to design a house that would withstand the BIG, BAD BLOWDRYER.  Ask them what properties of matter were important when building their houses.  Check out how their houses held up!   

The Blow Dryer Challenge

Today the class participated in The Blow Dryer Challenge. Kids were partnered up and had to create a house that would not get blown down by the big, bad blow dryer.  I was so impressed at how creative the kids were when constructing their houses.  They were very selective on the materials they used and worked cooperatively on creating some VERY durable houses!
